Configured update applet to show available updates (expert only) + always show detailed view. 2. Selected applet and configured preference for selected packages Crash: GUI dialog appeared to crash / vanish by itself after selecting packages 3. When user attempts to redo package applet the submission of info, resetting up repos and so forth is unnecessarily repeated again. This bug was not replicated in the clean install. My system does not have ecc ram so I cannot rule out the possibility of a bit flip previously causing the crash.
