1. Before that, while on all RC1 revisions, during the configuration of the update where the user submits info and sets up repos, the window crashed / vanished. Please create a separate bug report for this problem as this an issue with 'yast2 piwo' (the postinstallation workflow).
2. When a user inevitably tries to do the upgrade again, they are unnecessarily put through the submit info and choose repos a second time when they have already done so before the first crash. I guess that is related to the crash you've mentioned above.
3. The information now shown on the second time around for what repos are enabled is in error. No repos are shown as enabled when in fact the user added repos the first time around before the updater crashed. That sounds like bug 395333 that is fixed.
4. As to the kdesu error with updates totally failing to be applied, I do appreciate two of the repos were for factory, but I would like to point out that I also had the opensuse 11 update repo there as well. Im not sure which updates came from what repos, but my main point here with issue #4 is that I had not actually received any updates from any repos and all code was still at RC1. Your package database might be in a weird state. Could you please test again with a fresh installed system?
