http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1196228 Bug ID: 1196228 Summary: Leap 15.4 autologin failed: sddm uses wrong path /usr/etc: Auth: sddm-helper exited with 2 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.4 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: lubos.kocman@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- sddm[1076]: Auth: sddm-helper exited with 2 Probably because it uses /usr/etc/ as path, which is wrong Bug 1195679 is tracking the issue with macro itself, however Stefan Weiberg said that the plan is to revert usage of %{_distconfdir} from all packages including systemd and sddm (this particular bug). SLE will have %{_distconfdir} set to /etc until issues in individual packages get resolved. This is an tracker to resolve it (remove the macro usage) for sddm. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
