[Bug 1128706] New: Firexfox and Chrome do not accept mouse actions after suspend and reboot (not always unfortunately)
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1128706 Bug ID: 1128706 Summary: Firexfox and Chrome do not accept mouse actions after suspend and reboot (not always unfortunately) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: hmuelle@suse.com QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- I have installed Leap 15.1 with all updates applied - using Wayland (default install): XDG_SESSION_ID=2 XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=default XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME Often but not always after suspen or reboot, Firefox and Chrome do not react to mouse actions. I can still move the window or toggle full screen via double clicking the title bar. I cannot click menus, widgets, elements on the website itself. If the window is in front of another applications like e.g. Thunderbird, the click is triggering the action of element behind if there is any. I have noticed this behavior only with the web browser not with Thunderbird. Any keyboard triggered actions are still possible. It seems like the browsers are kicked out of mouse event loop while any display-manager/window-manager mouse event is still handled. By logging out and in the issue is solved. Still extremely annoying since I can no longer restore my open tabs. I have not idea which logs are helpful since it is Wayland not Xorg, please let me know what your require. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Fabian, please test also with our Dell 7480 (fresh install). I'll bring it to you.
Fabian told me, that he can't reproduce it on the Dell 7480 either. Maybe it's even related to the mouse model, which sounds weird indeed ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
