I have done the following test.
1- Deleted the additional information I have add at /etc/modprobe.d/sound
2- Reboot the computer and check Bios, sound is enabled
3- I run "set_default_volume -f 0"
4- I run "aplay -vv -Dplug:dmix foo.wav" I get no sound here you can see the
information I get:

I have add the line options snd-hda-intel model=ref in
/etc/modprobe.d/sound the sound work.
