[Bug 1162666] /etc/services moved
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1162666 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1162666#c4 --- Comment #4 from Thorsten Kukuk <kukuk@suse.com> --- (In reply to Luca Billi from comment #3)
As I saw a similar report on the opensuse-factory mailing list,
The reports on the mailing list were outdated /etc/nsswitch.conf files.
in my case:
- there're no /etc/*.rpm*
- /etc/nsswitch.conf is untouched and contains: services: files usrfiles protocols: files usrfiles ethers: files usrfiles
- the behavior has been consistent across 3 machines that I dup'd.
Then please provide exact error messages and how to reproduce, especially as e.g. nftables is not reading /etc/services, so cannot fail. Is libnss_usrfiles2 installed? This is normally pulled in by the patterns, but if you e.g. did de-install the patterns itself ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
