[Bug 214837] New: Too old OpenAL causing problems
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=214837 Summary: Too old OpenAL causing problems Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 1 Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: cmorve69@yahoo.es QAContact: qa@suse.de I see in factory repositories that there still is "openal-1.0.20051129-XX". And wanted to know what is the plan with OpenAL for 10.2. At first I supposed that OpenAL was not updated to avoid problems because of the openal/freealut separation, but has passed some time and the old version packaged with Suse is causing problems. To put just an example, the game http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/ hasn't sound in Suse 10.1 because it can't find function alListener3i. Function that the "OpenAL_Programmers_Guide" says is available in OpenAL 1.1 and higher. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Please see: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2006-10/msg01253.html And be patient, the new submissions need some time to arrive in the factory tree. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
