https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=213868 Summary: powersave and kpowersave report wrong AC state Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: rhafer@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de This is on a HP nx8220 Notebook. When I boot the machine with the powersupply disconnected, powersave and kpowersave do report the AC as online an therefore don't switch into energy saving mode. If you do 'powersave -b', the information you get is from HAL. Can you please post the output of 'cat /proc/acpi/battery/*/state" after booting? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
