If that is indeed with Ctrl+Alt+L (capital letter just to distinguish between i and l.), then this should be fixed in KDE 4.10.2. There is unfortunately another bug around this one, as that it would take about 1 to 2 minutes before the screenlocker kicks in. This was reported with bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313123. If you mean with lock the desktop, the fact that the screensaver kicks in, then it depends on settings for the screenlocker if a password is required or not. Default the settings will just simulate a normal screensaver and a touch of the keyboard or mouse is enough to show the desktop. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have 4.10.2 and cltr-alt-l does not lock the desktop
It does here. Maybe you're affected by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311050 ? A workaround is mentioned in comment #11 (or #24) there... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
