Downgrading to 6.5.3 fixes it.

That's a feature of recent offlineimap versions, not a bug.
It's a packaging problem IMO, since we have a certificate package, no need for the end user to fuss with configuring this. See firefox, evolution, etc... All of them work fine without such bother. Anyway, this fixed it for me: sslcacertfile = /var/lib/ca-certificates/ca-bundle.pem -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Well, you certainly didn't make that clear in the initial report. I asked upstream for a build time option to allow distros to configure a default path but there never was a followup to that: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.mail.imap.offlineimap.general/5654/focus=5661 I suppose I can come up with a simple patch for openSUSE to set a default path if sslcacertfile is not explicitly specified, but I don't know anything about setuptools and how to implement build-time options in order to create an upstreamable patch which would be preferrable, help welcome. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
