I asked upstream for a build time option to allow distros to configure a default path but there never was a followup to that: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.mail.imap.offlineimap.general/5654/focus=5661 I suppose I can come up with a simple patch for openSUSE to set a default path if sslcacertfile is not explicitly specified, but I don't know anything about setuptools and how to implement build-time options in order to create an upstreamable patch which would be preferrable, help welcome.
