https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=263361 ------- Comment #11 from peter@suntel.com.tr 2007-04-16 02:00 MST ------- Hi Interestingly I just rebooted my notebook properly to get you a clean dmesg (I normally "suspend to disk" in between kernel upgrades) and the cdrom is now working properly. The thing is I have rebooted properly once since I logged this bug (after the latest kernel update in factory) and it didnt work. I update to the latest factory on a daily basis, so I assume I am up to date with alpha3. KDE now shows the device as media:/sr0 and linux shows: /dev/sr0 on /media/My Disc type iso9660 (ro,nosuid,nodev,noatime,uid=1000,utf8) I will update here again after I reboot a few times. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

The problem just occurred again. It seems to be related to resuming from "suspend to disk" (Last time it occured was also after a resume from disk). Rebooting "properly" fixes the problem. I will test a few more times both full reboot and suspend to disk and try to reliably reproduce the problem -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
