I'm happy to test with compat-wireless but what's the best place to get it from?
The steps to test compat-wireless are described here: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download There is also another fix which disables PCI ASPM and may help too. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you attach output of ath_info in this state? I tried downgrade NetworkManager and NetworkManager-glib back to 0.8-7.4 from OpenSUSE-Updates ver. 0.8-8.1.1 And than after resume wifi sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. With ver. 0.8-8.1.1 after resume wifi never work.
Ok, thanks for checking that. Could you disable NM completely for testing purposes, setup wifi manually and suspend/resume with that? There is a manual how to do that: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Tracking_down_wireless_problems#How_to_set_up_a_c... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

and working great I try many suspend and resume and all works still great
Than I # rcnetwork start # knetworkmanager
Works great until I doing suspend and resume - than wifi doesnt work.
Tambet, what kind of magic NM does? Zdenek, could you attach NM log (/var/log/NetworkManager) after suspend? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I testing with kernel-desktop-2.6.35.1-1.1.i586 and still same problem. Strange is that unload modules doesnt help, I must restart PC.
You reported in Comment #15 that without NetworkManager (NM) you can not observe this problem anymore. In this case the problem is in NM or in knetworkmanager. Driver, wireless extension and wpa_supplicant is working for you. In 11.3 gnome desktop is NM working for me. I guess that there is a problem in knetworkmanager. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
