Other distributions had this problem in the past as well, it seems to be a problem with ImageMagic (on i586?) and not Calibre:

I tried to validate my ImageMagic installation as mentioned on the ImageMagic website (http://www.imagemagick.org/script/binary-releases.php) and I got:
