Yeah, that's why I have talked about a feature. It is packaged that way in suse from 5.3 times, so might be that there is a reason behind to have it packaged that way (for general example: admin should *always* look at *.conf file before run it, there is an option for which is hard to set a default for it). So if I were you, I would discuss on opensuse-factory@ the change plus your proposal to the shape of default *.conf file. If an agreement arises, then create a feature on fate.opensuse.org.
