[Bug 914149] New: desktop background is demolished after wake-up from suspend/hibernate
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=914149 Bug ID: 914149 Summary: desktop background is demolished after wake-up from suspend/hibernate Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201501* Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: novell@tower-net.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 620380 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=620380&action=edit screenshot.jpg Hi, after update to Tumbleweed the desktop background looks demolished and ugly when the laptop wakes up from a suspend or hibernate state. I can temporary fix this with changing the background to a new image in the desktop settings. But this is annoying. It happens not always, but around 90% of the wake-ups. The attached screenshot shows how it looks like. It has absolutely nothing to do with the selected background image scene. I've not much idea what might be the problem. So please ask what information you'll need to fix this! thx Markus -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'm using the ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/13.2/ for proprietary nvidia drivers. But the same driver version works with older SUSE installation without problems. The exact version you can see in attached nvidia_rpms.txt.gz.
Can you reproduce this behaviour using nouveau drivers? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
