[Bug 1060157] New: home:szotsaki/ring-client-kde: Application fails to launch
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060157 Bug ID: 1060157 Summary: home:szotsaki/ring-client-kde: Application fails to launch Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: szotsaki@gmail.com Reporter: nopeinomicon@protonmail.com QA Contact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- After installation from the repository on an x86_64 machine running openSUSE Tumbleweed (latest updates as of 9/24/2017), the application failed to launch. Launching the application from the terminal produces the following error: "ring-kde: symbol lookup error: ring-kde: undefined symbol: _ZN13NameDirectory19registeredNameFoundEPK7AccountNS_12LookupStatusERK7QStringS6_". The same error is produced when running with sudo. This build time listed with the installed package is: Sun 12 Feb 2017 11:47:32 PM MST. Other information (should it prove useful) is that the system is using the KDE Plasma 5 Desktop (with X.org) and the proprietary NVIDIA drivers from their repositories. Reporting this with the hopes I may be able to get Ring working on openSUSE Tumbleweed as the Gnome client also is not functioning on my machine (will report seperately). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
