No KDE effect enabled and glxinfo command says: name of display: :0 Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig glxgears also doesnt work: glxgears Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual I've also tested it with latest avaliable KDE LiveCD openSUSE-KDE-LiveCD-x86_64-Build0405-Media.iso and had the same expirience.
