BCM20702A0 Bluetooth 4.0 system fails to load its firmware BCM20702A1-0a5c-21e8 then load a generic one (i assume) with the generic one we don't get full features. please add this firmware supplied by plugable wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugable/bin/fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd in i assume package kernel-firmware this firmware must be renamed BCM20702A1-0a5c-21e8.hcd and put in /lib/firmware/brcm/ inspired by plugable doc and experiment with kernel 4.4.104-39 : https://plugable.com/2014/06/23/plugable-usb-bluetooth-adapter-solving-hfphs... thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have build the Firmware for your Dongle (0a5c:21e8) in my Repo: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Sauerland/openSUSE_Leap_42. 3/noarch/bcm20702a1-firmware-12011012-5.1.noarch.rpm
Maybe the Firmware is not getting in kernel-firmware because of the License.
i tested your rpm i installed. this does not work. if i click in "states¬ifications" on bluetooth icon then bluedevil says that there is no bluetooth card and i can't activate bluetooth if i uninstalled your rpm then copy/past my BCM20702A1-0a5c-21e8.hcd to /lib/firmware/brcm/ then no problem -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

So I extracted the latest Firmware (12.0.1.1012) and build an rpm, which workes with my dongle.
