The default solution in the partitioning section is to remove all partitions and create the necessary. This is highly undesirable and for many unacceptable solution. A new, relatively clueless user is not very likely to install openSUSE when (s)he finds that it wants to erase the whole computer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start openSUSE 11.1 or 11.2 installation on an intel mac. 2.Look at the default partitioning suggested by the installer 3. Actual Results: The installer wants to remove all partitions and create the necessary. Expected Results: It should leave the firs two partitions: the EFI and the mac os. The others could be left on the installer's mercy but the first two are essential. They should not be touched. You prefer to delete everything rather than just the partitions after second? That's surely causing more problems. It is just a proposal but most people would accept the defaults and then will think "linux? never again!". I know a few that accepted said defaults and were very sorry afterwards. They are windows users and it was a few years ago. This issue is fixed for windows now.
