I pushed an update for usbguard, to version 0.7.8. Which should fix the fundamental problem with the daemon. Is this still an issue after the version update? From the time stamp of the ticket, the new version was already out.
Tried to reproduce it on my LEAP15.2 test VM, but there everything seems to be in order and working as expected (No core dumps or complaints in the log).
I also have this
LockPersonality=yes in my service file (/usr/lib/systemd/system/usbguard.service). Maybe systemd was not updated completely ?
Meanwhile it does work ... but the notifier shows /suse/werner> systemctl --user stop usbguard-notifier.service /suse/werner> systemctl --user start usbguard-notifier.service /suse/werner> usbguard-notifier-cli Error: file /tmp/usbguard-notifier/werner doesnt exist. /suse/werner> systemctl --user restart usbguard-notifier.service /suse/werner> usbguard-notifier-cli Error: file /tmp/usbguard-notifier/werner doesnt exist. Also this command client is a poor replacement for the applet within the (lx)panel of (xfce4)panel -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

This can be used only for root with zsh enabled ... ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
