[Bug 922017] New: hylafax+ client isn't standalone anymore
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=922017 Bug ID: 922017 Summary: hylafax+ client isn't standalone anymore Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: hpj@urpla.net QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After the recent update from hylafax 6.0.6 to hylafax+ 5.5.5 (a good move, BTW!), the hylafax+-client cannot be installed standalone anymore. Since the server installs cron jobs, that results in complains by mail similar to: HylaFAX Usage Report FATAL ERROR: /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache is missing! The file /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache is not present. This probably means the machine has not been setup using the faxsetup(8C) command. Read the documentation on setting up HylaFAX before you startup a server system. An attempt to uninstal the server results in: $ rpm -e hylafax+ error: Failed dependencies: libfaxutil.so.5.5.5()(64bit) is needed by (installed) hylafax+-client-5.5.5-2.1.x86_64 Please relocate the libfaxutil into its own package.
