After the recent update from hylafax 6.0.6 to hylafax+ 5.5.5 (a good move, BTW!), the hylafax+-client cannot be installed standalone anymore. Since the server installs cron jobs, that results in complains by mail similar to: HylaFAX Usage Report FATAL ERROR: /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache is missing! The file /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache is not present. This probably means the machine has not been setup using the faxsetup(8C) command. Read the documentation on setting up HylaFAX before you startup a server system. An attempt to uninstal the server results in: $ rpm -e hylafax+ error: Failed dependencies: libfaxutil.so.5.5.5()(64bit) is needed by (installed) hylafax+-client-5.5.5-2.1.x86_64 Please relocate the libfaxutil into its own package. Thanks.
