[Bug 916613] New: RDNSS not working in 13.1
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=916613 Bug ID: 916613 Summary: RDNSS not working in 13.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: james.knott@rogers.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I have been testing 13.1 with RDNSS, which is a method of obtaining a DNS server address via IPv6. On my notebook computer, running 13.1 and using the KDE network manager, it does not obtain a DNS server address, unless an IPv4 DHCP server is running. As RDNSS is the preferred way of obtaining a DNS server address, as per RFC6106, this should be fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
