Your attached Xorg.0.log from comment#37 tells me "nvidia", not "nouveau". So if your desktop works. Just check with

glxinfo -B | grep "OpenGL renderer"

if things are working.

thing is, with glibc 2.37,I only have reduced resolution and ps -A auf |grep -i Xorg has no output. so, if nvidia is running, it is hiding or something else is at play. later I will reinstall glibc 2.37 and provide output from glxinfo. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
