[Bug 967427] No wireless LANs shown in NetworkManager after installing today's patches for wpa-supplicant (and glibc)
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=967427 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=967427#c10 --- Comment #10 from Willy Weisz <Willy.Weisz@univie.ac.at> --- (In reply to Chenzi Cao from comment #9)
Hi Willy, it looks like you have found a solution for this issue, is it ok for you to close here? If not, would you like to double check whether this issue is reproducible on a newer version, such as openSUSE Leap 42.1 or Tumbleweed? openSUSE is not getting update any longer. Thanks.
@ Wolfgang, would you please help to follow up this issue? Thank you!
I'm now on Leap 42.1 with glibc-2.19-19.1.x86_64 wpa_supplicant-2.2-6.2.x86_64 NetworkManager-1.0.6-7.1.x86_64. I've found a solution for my rather old 13.1, and on Leap 42.1 - out-of-the-box plus online updating - NetworkManager does what it is expected to do. :-)
From my point of view the bug report can be closed.
