For the addon we are still facing quite some issues so that I'm not sure I would agree to add it anywhere just yet. It has to be chosen manually in Firefox though. It DOES however, change the look of the other icons that are not on the toolbar by default. Yes, both themes are using the same icons in general. That's what the default theme does. It tries to get the current used icons from the environment and applies them to the UI.
