The package wouldn't have installed in the first place if I didn't have internet access.
Packages can be installed without internet access so I had to ask.
I've force reinstalled both the kernel driver and firmware multiple times and rebooted. The file indeed exists (check last line below).
Yes the firmware file is where it should be. What looks strange is that dracut is triggered to generate an initrd when installing the kmp. If the kmp but not the firmware is installed into the initrd it would be missing when the driver loads at boot. Do you have any special dracut configs? Does the module load properly if you reload it with: $ modprobe -r facetimehd $ modprobe facetimehd -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
