Packages can be installed without internet access so I had to ask.

Yes the firmware file is where it should be. What looks strange is that dracut
is triggered to generate an initrd when installing the kmp. If the kmp but not
the firmware is installed into the initrd it would be missing when the driver
loads at boot. Do you have any special dracut configs?

Does the module load properly if you reload it with:
$ modprobe -r facetimehd
$ modprobe facetimehd
