Upstream contains this note: "disabled until plugin is fully functional" Regarding the a52dec: Some resources or internet mention patent claim of Dolby Laboratories Inc. As the standard was established in early 90's, it is possible, that all related patents expired. Patent research is required before possible enabling of AC3/A52. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Totem already supports it from 2.25.x. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you consider AC3/A52 support as possible, please reassign back to me. It's the ATSC's (Advanced Televison Systems Commitee's) audio codec standard for HDTV. Coincidentally, it's also used for DVDs. Also known as ATSC A/52, Digital Audio Compression (AC-3), United States Advanced Television Committee. There is unclear discussion, whether Dolby owns patent to technology, or implementation. It is possible, that all relevant patents already expired. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
