http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=915699 Bug ID: 915699 Summary: Sytem time not updated by ntp Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: norbert.jurkeit@web.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- If option "synchronize without daemon" is selected in the YaST2 module for ntp configuration, the system time does not get updated. This is caused by a missing absolute path name for the sntp command in line 222 in script start-ntpd. When this script is run by cron, /usr/sbin is not in the search path and sntp will not be found. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
