[Bug 506705] New: boot normally if user interrupts an fsck or certain partition can not be mounted for any other reason.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506705 Summary: boot normally if user interrupts an fsck or certain partition can not be mounted for any other reason. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: estellnb@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.10 (like Gecko) SUSE If the user interrupts the fsck of an additional partition no system partitions (/home, /usr, /var) are mounted. Formerly in general this error also occurred if an additional partition could not be mounted for any reason (not tested again). My request would be just not to mount the partition that causes the problems but proceed to boot normally with all other partitions being mounted correctly. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
