Putting [keyfile] hostname=my_hostname
into /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf didn't help.
NetworkManager, using the ifcfg-suse plugin, follows sysconfig for that:
grep SET_HOSTNAME /etc/sysconfig/network/dhcp DHCLIENT_SET_HOSTNAME="no" DHCLIENT6_SET_HOSTNAME="no"
