Could you try with older Leap 15.3 kernel releases and see whether it's a regression in the recent versions?
How do I install an older kernel version? fwiw, it worked with Leap 15.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

fwiw, it worked with Leap 15.2
Run "zypper se -s kernel-default". It'll show various kernel-default-* packages with different kernel versions (5.3.18-59.5.2, 5.3.18-59.10.1, 5.3.18-59.16.1, ...). Then you can install like zypper in --oldpackage kernel-default-5.3.18-59.5.2 But, before doing it, you'd better increase the max number of kernels to be installed. Edit /etc/zypp/zypp.conf, and change the line defining multiversion.kernels" to add more items, e.g. multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1,latest-2,latest-3,running Once after testing the old kernel and no longer needed, you can simply uninstall it with the specific version number, such as zypper rm kernel-default-5.3.18-59.5.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
