[Bug 681503] New: /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/11-mouse.conf: add support for Logitech Easy Optical Mouse RX250 (buttons 6+7)
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681503 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681503#c0 Summary: /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/11-mouse.conf: add support for Logitech Easy Optical Mouse RX250 (buttons 6+7) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: melchior.franz@gmail.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=420634) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=420634) patch to add support for Logitech RX250 mouse User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20110222 Firefox/4.0b12 The current xorg.conf mouse setup doesn't support buttons 6+7 (sideways tilted scroll wheel) of the "Logitech Easy Optical Mouse RX250". This entry added to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/11-mouse.conf adds support for these buttons: Section "InputClass" # 046d:c050 Identifier "Logitech Easy Optical Mouse" MatchVendor "Logitech, Inc." MatchProduct "RX 250 Optical Mouse" MatchIsPointer "on" Driver "evdev" Option "Buttons" "7" Option "YAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "XAxisMapping" "6 7" EndSection Without this definition, buttons 1 2 3 4 5 work as expected, so this isn't a critical fix. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
