Hi Fabian, the graphical enablement has been part of the bug report https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1181700 .

IBM has also created a Jira feature request with IBM-501. Then I went through our bug reports and broken builds. After the graphical enablement, I wanted to have it fixed again.

Which X parts are continuously broken? I can see only xrdp as a remote desktop client under our s390x packages, which is on our todo list (discussed in the zsystems team).

"Continuously broken"? I meant that some packages were not built when I had a look last time, a few months ago. Looks like a lot changed since then, it was before the Xorg "enablement" on s390. p-d has this in a !s390 block: BuildRequires: pkgconfig(xorg-evdev) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(xorg-libinput) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(xorg-server) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(xorg-synaptics) xorg-server and xorg-libinput are available meanwhile. synaptics doesn't make sense and I assume evdev was not enabled as it's somewhat superseded by libinput. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
