[Bug 1056698] New: YaST2 sw_single text interface is broken in terminal emulator
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1056698 Bug ID: 1056698 Summary: YaST2 sw_single text interface is broken in terminal emulator Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: psychonaut@nothingisreal.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 739063 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=739063&action=edit Screenshot showing yast2 sw_single run in konsole Following a recent update to openSUSE Tumbleweed, YaST2 sw_single no longer runs correctly in an xterm. The interface is completely garbled an unusable (see screenshot). This happens when running every X11 terminal emulator I've tried (gnome-terminal, konsole, xterm). However, the interface still looks good when run from a text console. This issue will be a particular problem for those hit by Bug 1054150, which makes it impossible to start the GUI version of sw_single. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
