This is the default layout available in the XKeyboarConfig for Romanian [1]. This proposal has the support of the romanian users' community. [2] Additionaly, we would like to also see the ro_ro layout as an option. Please consider putting ro_ro as the default, with ro_us as an alternative. That's a feature for YaST, not for X.Org. X.Org already provides appropriate keyboard layouts.

You mean "us,ro"? "<something>,us" is known not to work.
I expected "ro,us", and I'm surprised that it does not work.
Only "cz,us" and "sk,us" appears not to be problematic. Not sure why and I don't plan to change it. Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'm going to be killed by our cz/sk developers. ;-)
