I don't normally use discord (prefer canary) so I had to install it and went so far as to clear out ~/.config/discord/0.0.8/ too. Tested voice chat, notifications and embedded content. Just to make sure I also installed it on a work laptop. Again no issues. My only suggestion would be to update tumbleweed to something newer than 9 months old and try again. You really shouldn't install anything without updating first with tumbleweed. After that *force* reinstall discord to overwrite your changes. If that doesn't work, then quit it and hop into /usr/lib64/discord and run ldd libffmpeg.so and post the output. Then run discord from terminal and hopefully you'll see an error you can investigate.
