[Bug 1125166] Amarok: Error message: Could not find requested component
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1125166 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1125166#c2 --- Comment #2 from Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> --- I investigated some more, and AFAICT, the katepart is only needed by the scripting console. Rather an advanced feature (and disabled by default), so I don't really see a need to add any dependency for that. (btw, just installing libkatepartinterfaces4 wouldn't help here anyway, you'd need kate4-parts as well) And in the case that the scripting console is activated but kate4-parts is not installed, Amarok does open a dialog that tells you about the problem. I'll still leave this bug report open though, because I really think the update should be handled better with the Wikipedia applet not being available anymore. I do consider this an upstream problem though, but will try to fix it myself. As I mentioned in the upstream bug report, a kconf update script would probably be a good idea... ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
