[Bug 1084812] [aarch64] IPv4 DNS leading to segfaults

(In reply to Freek de Kruijf from comment #66)
I started with image openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi3.aarch64-2018.02.02-Build1.2.raw.xz and needed to remove from /boot/grub2/grub.cfg the text looking like "console=tty0 console=tty??0,... " leaving only console=tty??1,... on the line with the boot command. This is necessary to get output on the console connection when the system is performing the initialization. This is what I did earlier, after which I performed a "zypper dup --no-recommends" and ended with a bootable system where zypper and pip crashed. Now doing this again with this image, I performed again "zypper dup --no-recommends", after which I got a non-bootable system. Even nothing appears on the console, not even the initial messages of the boot process.
Any information you need?
Please wait that new images are published (or build you own from Factory:ARM/JeOS) because a lot of fixes were integrated last month.
I tried the same procedure as above. Replaced glibc from the repository mentioned in comment #70 and did a reboot, which went OK. However "zypper dup --no-recommends" ended the same as above; did not boot, not a single character on the console. When will a new image be available? I have no idea how to build my own. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
