/var is now a subvolume, why do you want to create additional subvolumes below /var? That's not needed anymore.

In that case it's not a bug. I was trying to replicate Richard Brown's hackweek project on Kubic which required adding these subvolumes.

Is there a changelog or mailing list for Kubic that I can join so I know not to create stupid bugs?
