As I understand, unfortunately, it is just how GRUB is made and it has no configurable options for that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

As far as I know, it is a grub limitation. I usually get the encryption key right on the first try. But when I miss, I just use CTRL-ALT-DEL and start over. I suppose I should try hitting ESC to see if grub restarts on that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1103671 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1103671#c3 --- Comment #3 from Alexander Shchadilov <alexander.shchadilov@gmail.com> --- I see there was a patch proposed for GRUB that add a loop with 3 attempts. http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2018-03/msg00053.html I am not familiar with GRUB development workflow so I have no idea what it means in practice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
