I already tried to create a working (building) tarball, but so far failed. The problem is a bit that the Qtwebkit 23 branch (which contains the fixes he requests)is not building against older Qt versions. The standard package compiles fine, but we had quite some problems when working with it. Of course we could have placed it in the official repos and then you had another reason for a bug report as that with the QtWebKit 2.3 Beta & RC, videos didn't play correctly, etc. So building it somewhere outside of the official repo's until it build correctly and all the old patches have been validated, seems to be a good choice (Don't you agree ?) Only yesterday morning we build successfully QtWebKit which seems to work fine. The only thing remaining is to validate the patches and then it will be submitted to the official repository.
