(ps. my APM of harddisk is 128 (by default) (In reply to comment #1)
I didn't see anything affecting SATA in their 3.0 and 3.2 updates.
I checked linux_3.2.0-18.28.diff.gz and linux_3.0.0-16.29.diff.gz
