May I ask you why do you use Application:Geo:Staging ? This is a test bed where everything is expected to be crash. The use of normal Application:Geo is expected to be used by end-user. So check first that you really have http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Application:/Geo/openSUSE_Leap_42.... then try a dup in dry mode. This will show up what will be updated to the Geo Repository. (for example gdal and geos are expected to come from this repository) zypper -v dup -D --from (application geo repo name) If you have doubts you can report back the list here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

So there's something in your installation that cause the crash. One of the possible root cause, can be the graphic adapter : which one have you ? Intel, radeon, amd-gpu, nouveau, and which kind of xorg drivers are you using (xf86-video) or modesetting ? Could you perhaps boot with nomodeset The other things needed to have an idea about what's happening, you will have to run qgis with gdb Install first qgis-debuginfo then gdb qgis once the crash occur type bt and report back -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
