User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2 When installing openSuSE 12.1 Milestone 5, I used a machine with a Radeon HD6850 graphics card installed. The first phase of install proceeded normally, however once the system rebooted to begin the second phase of install, the screen appeared covered in vertical stripes and seemed to flicker randomly. I was not able to progress past this point without swapping out the graphics card for a Radeon HD5670, after which the install continued normally. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I selected KDE as my desktop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Begin installation of a machine with a Radeon HD6850 graphics card 2. Complete the first phase of installation, selecting KDE as your desktop. 3. Wait for the system to reboot and attempt to initiate the second phase of installation. Actual Results: Flickering stripes appear on the screen. Expected Results: Graphics are displayed normally on the screen. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
