see my comment above regarding the use of sbverify. Can I use it to try and verify the signitures of the efi files? I just don't know how to supply the correct certificates with it.
We have this tool actually (package sbsigntools in factory), but build is disabled for anything but factory itself. Quoting from https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/798204: "ok, but we should prefer to use our own tool pesign , as discussed by email" @Markus, what's the background of this statement? At least for signature verification, sbverify seems to be far more powerful then pesign.
