well bruno ..
there doesn't matter if i would use ssh or vnc for connect .. my exact line
was:
kernel /suse113/linux
install=http://mirror.karneval.cz/pub/opensuse/11.3/repo/oss/ vnc=1
vncpassword=12345678 hostip=192.168.50.100/24 gateway=192.168.50.2
nameserver=192.168.50.1 textmode=1 showopts
^^ problem is, that it **never** catches a repo on first hit .. it always falls
down to message screen, that repo is invalid (can't be accessed or so) although
you can by walking into shell (expert -> start shell) check, that **everything
just works fine** (routing, ifaces, resolv.conf .. you can ping whatever you
want).
you need by hand on /dev/console reinvoke http install (start updade/install ->
net -> http ## bad memory) and accept already configured values as they were
been passed to installer's kernel ..
if you will omit a network settings and use dhcp, everything **will run** (by
some magic reason)
regards, daniel
