https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=328929 Summary: Partitioner suggests to delete existing LVM-volumes during install Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: christian.jaeger@rub.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- During install, the partitioner suggests deleting an existing LVM and re-partition in order to make space for openSUSE. Why doesn't is do what it does when you select ' create LVM-based proposal' by default, when an LVM is found. The resulting proposal is always sane; i.e. re-formatting the root-partition whithin the the LVM and creating a mountpoint for the existing 'home'. In this context, I again ask for the similar bug 249380 being solved finally. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
